Not much is known about this Wayfarer’ed Vancouverite other than what he’s made available to the world via his myspace page. Last time I went to a myspace site my web browser cried, so I’m not going to bother but you can if you wish. Reason for his scarcity under this moniker may be the fact that he’s now a full-time member of the dance duo Oliver.

“U” don’t have to know much about U-Tern other than the fact that before he was assimilated into Oliver, lots and lots of people listened to his tunes.

I first came across U-Tern via his tons o’ fun Stevie Wonder re-edit; even Stevie himself could see that this track kicks ass.

More recently was a free download of perhaps the perfect big-room, f/phat bassline, nu-disco club banger, entitled “You Don’t Know Me”.

And lastly, even though I’ll always have a special place in my heart for U-Tern, the switch to team Oliver might have been a good career move, as evidenced by their official remix for the black dude from Community.
